The Lady Behind the Business
Welcome, my name is Charlotte, and I am your balloon artist. I'm also the owner and founder of Balloons and Cakes. I am 29, a wife and been married 4 years this year, I'm also a mum to a gorgeous little girl. My passion for balloons/decor and events came from wanting to be an event planner, however things went in a different direction for me as I grew up and left school. I have been a full-time self-employed nail technician for 8 years and this year in 2025, I wanted to take a step back from that and pursue my passion for wanting to help people create the best party/event they dream of wanting.
Originally, I wanted to do this as a hobby for family and friends’ parties, but after assisting my uncle in his plans for my aunt’s birthday, I knew this was the direction I wanted to go in. However, I have now decided to turn it into my very own business.
I cannot wait to help people no matter how big or small the celebration is.

Let me introduce you to Kim Hare. Kim is the creator and founder of Hareraising Cakes.
Kim started making cakes as a hobby over 30yrs ago, eventually giving up her full-time job in teaching under 5's. She has a lifetime of passion to baking delicious treats that bring people together, celebrating so many special occasions along the way and now she can be a small part of your special occasion too, making your dream cake.
We are really excited in Kim working with us to supply us with the best baked good in town.
